
Ditch the boring tomato sauce and mustard. These creative toppings are something to relish.

GUACAMOLE
Mash together 1 avocado, lime juice, and salt.
Mix in 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped tomato, 1 tbsp chopped coriander, 1 tsp chopped garlic.
Stir in 1⁄2 tsp cayenne pepper.

THAI CURRY MAYO
Mix 1⁄2 cup mayonnaise, 1 tbsp tomato sauce, 2 tsps red curry paste, 1⁄2 tsp fish sauce and the juice of 1 lime. Season with salt.

CHILLI SLAW
Mix 1 cup grated carrots, 1 cup finely sliced cabbage, 1⁄4 cup Thai sweet chilli sauce, lime juice and chopped coriander, 2 tsps fish sauce and 1 chopped onion.

PICO DE GALLO
Mix 3 chopped tomatoes, 1 diced and seeded jalapeño, 1 diced red onion, 2 tbsps chopped coriander, 1⁄4 tsp ground cumin and salt to taste.

RED ONION MARMALADE
Cook 2 sliced red onions in a pan with 1⁄4 cup olive oil over low heat, covered until golden.
Stir in 3 tbsps cider vinegar, 2 tbsps brown sugar and 1 tsp grated ginger; season with salt.
Cook until thick.

STOUT MUSTARD
Mix 2 tbsps stout beer, 1⁄4 cup each wholegrain and Dijon mustard, 1⁄2 finely chopped onion and 2 tsps brown sugar.
